We reserve the right to modify product offerings at any time.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Prices may change based on supply availability, government incentives, installation conditions, or design changes.
  • Additional charges may apply if installation requires extra components (e.g., switchboard upgrades, cabling, compliance work).
  • Rebates are subject to eligibility and government program rules.

No work begins until a written quote is approved by the customer.

4. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit may be required to secure stock or installation dates.
  • Full payment must be made as per the invoice terms.
  • Late payments may delay installation or service delivery.

Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, card payment, or other approved options.

5. Installation

Installation times depend on product availability, weather, and site readiness.
By agreeing to installation, you confirm:

  • the site is safe and accessible.
  • you have proper authority (owner, landlord permission).
  • electrical infrastructure is compliant or will be upgraded if needed.

We reserve the right to reschedule installations for safety or operational reasons.

6. Warranties

All products installed by Forext Solar & Battery include manufacturer warranties, typically:

  • Solar panels: 10–25 years (varies by brand).
  • Inverters: 5–10 years.
  • Batteries: 10 years or lifecycle-based.
  • Workmanship: 5–10 years depending on scope.

Warranty terms are provided at installation or upon request.

Improper use, customer-performed modifications, or non-authorised repairs may void warranties.

Forext Solar & Battery is not liable for:

  • losses caused by grid outages.
  • weather events.
  • damage caused by misuse.
  • customer-installed modifications.
  • loss of income or indirect damages.

Our total liability is limited to the cost of the product or service purchased.

This does not restrict rights protected under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

9. Cancellations & Refunds

  • deposits may be non-refundable where stock has been allocated.
  • custom orders may incur restocking fees.

Refunds follow ACL guidelines and manufacturer policies.

10. Government Rebates & Incentives

Forext Solar & Battery assists customers in accessing eligible government incentives, including but not limited to:

However, all rebates are governed by government-issued rules, audits, and eligibility criteria, and are not controlled by Forext Solar & Battery.

Eligibility Requirements

Rebate eligibility may depend on factors such as:

  • your address or network provider (Synergy or Horizon Power)
  • your existing solar system size
  • your evening usage levels
  • installation of an approved, VPP-ready battery
  • confirmation of identity
  • grid connection approval
  • your compliance with program terms

We do not guarantee rebate approval, as this decision is made solely by the relevant government authority.

Rebate Amounts May Change

Rebate values and program rules are:

  • subject to change at any time
  • dependent on government funding
  • available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • reduced annually or as per government phase-down schedules

We cannot be held responsible for:

  • changes to rebate amounts
  • early closure of programs
  • approval delays
  • eligibility refusals

Any quote that includes a rebate deduction assumes program availability at the time of quoting.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information required for rebate applications.
  • submitting documents requested by the rebate authority.
  • keeping email / phone accessible for verification.
  • complying with all VPP or program requirements.
  • ensuring details provided are true and correct.

If a customer provides incorrect information and the rebate is denied, the customer must pay the full system price.

Rebate Deduction in Quotes

Where rebates are shown as “included” or “deducted,” this means:

  • The rebate amount is anticipated based on current guidelines.
  • The final payable price may change if rebate rules change.
  • If a rebate is reduced, cancelled, or rejected, the customer is responsible for the difference unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Post-Installation Compliance

Some rebates require:

  • monitoring setup
  • VPP enrolment
  • minimum battery size
  • minimum solar size
  • approved brands/models
  • consistent grid connection

Failure to meet or maintain these conditions may result in:

  • disqualification from the rebate
  • repayment of the rebate
  • loss of program benefits

Forext Solar & Battery is not responsible for rebate revocation caused by non-compliance after installation.

STCs (Solar Rebates)

For solar installations receiving STCs:

  • STCs are assigned to Forext Solar & Battery at the time of installation unless otherwise agreed.
  • STC values fluctuate and may influence the final quoted price.
  • If STC values drop before installation, the customer may be required to cover the difference.

This aligns with standard Clean Energy Regulator guidelines.

Rebate Audit & Verification

Government bodies may audit the customer after installation.

The customer must:

  • respond to audit requests
  • provide documentation
  • provide access to installers or inspectors if required

Failure to cooperate may result in rejection of the rebate.
